Interested in "Setting up your own Website" ?
Are you a websitevirgin? This website has been created for those with a general interest in web design, but no real technological knowledge, or shall we say Website Virgins.
I have wanted to create my own website for a long time, and indeed have messed about with Microsoft Frontpage in the past, however, I am not in the IT industry, and have no web design or programming experience, therefore I consider myself a websitevirgin.
My frustration lies with the instructions supplied with any computer program, instructions that consist of what must be a five hundred page book, ranging from Introduction and Where to Start (the simple bits, that keep you interested for ten minutes) to the boring bits at the end that you don't understand or find hard to follow after ten words.
Here is an example: JARGON
Of course if you read it very slowly and out loud it sorts of makes sense, but I am not a patient man, and love the simple idea of a mouse and the two words 'cut and paste'.
If you are reading this, then I have obviously been successful in 'setting up my own website', and what I hope to do is explain exactly how I did it, with just a few clicks and very few technical terms.
I have obtained all this information through Google and have managed to keep costs to an absolute minimum.
